Internet awareness for college staff

The Departments of Computer Science and Information Technology of Sri Kaliswari College, Sivakasi, organised a one-day workshop on `Internet awareness' for teaching and non-teaching staff recently. Topics such as `evolution of Internet,' `protocols used' and the latest technologies were discussed. Demonstrations of downloading files from the Internet and how to create and use e-mail identities were also performed. The participants also had laboratory session in which they used the Internet
